We had a fantastic stay in a great little cottage tucked away in a peaceful location. the beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. the open-plan layout was perfect for our group, giving a spacious and homely feel. the hosts were very communicative and made us feel welcome. the beach, just a few minutes away, was stunning and perfect for a swim.
The lack of a sea view was a slight disappointment, but the cottage's peaceful atmosphere more than made up for it.

We had such a wonderful time staying at a lovely little cottage in the heart of East Neuk Fife. The location was perfect, tucked away from the busy road, giving us a cozy and peaceful getaway. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, including WiFi which was a lifesaver for our tech-savvy kids. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. We were also delighted to find a dog-friendly pub just a stone's throw away, where we enjoyed delicious meals.

My recent stay at Helena Cottage was absolutely delightful. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet area but still just a short walk from the beautiful beach. The cottage itself had everything I could ever need, from cleaning products to comfy beds with top-quality bedding. It was also a bonus that the cottage was dog-friendly, allowing me to enjoy scenic coastal walks with my furry friend. The owner, Brian, was incredibly helpful and made sure any queries were promptly addressed. I highly recommend Helena Cottage as the ideal base for exploring the charming East Neuk area of Fife.
Although the cottage lacked a sea view or a direct view of the golf course, these slight drawbacks were easily overlooked, considering the stunning beach and proximity to the golf course. Additionally, parking could be a bit challenging at times.

The cottage was perfectly situated in the heart of the town, just a short 5-minute walk from the beach. Being able to bring my furry friend along made it even better, as the proximity to the beach and coastal walks was ideal. The owner, Brian, was extremely helpful and readily available to assist with any queries. Additionally, having WiFi available was a blessing, especially for the kids who were glued to their new phones. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the experience was outstanding and I would highly recommend this cottage as an ideal base for exploring the East Neuk area.

We had a great time during our stay in this hidden gem. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hosts were friendly and had excellent communication, making us feel welcomed and taken care of. The location was ideal, with the beautiful beach just a few minutes away. We loved being able to relax and soak up the sun. Plus, there was a great pub nearby where we could enjoy delicious food and drinks.
That there was no sea view or golf course view from the property. However, this wasn't a major issue as the stunning Elie beach and the picturesque golf course were just a short walk away.

The decoration at Helena Cottage was so charming and cozy, it made me feel right at home. The living room had lovely warm colors and comfortable furniture, perfect for relaxing by the fire. The general areas of the hotel were well-kept and easy for me to navigate as a senior. I appreciated the thoughtful details like handrails and good lighting to ensure my safety and comfort throughout my stay.
I would have loved to see more activities or organized outings specifically tailored for senior guests. It would have been wonderful if the children working there could have offered some suggestions or assistance in planning outings that catered to our needs and interests.

I absolutely adored the cozy and charming decor of Helena Cottage. The beautiful furnishings and lovely touches made me feel right at home during my stay. The general areas were accessible and well-maintained, perfect for senior people like myself. It was easy to navigate around the cottage and I felt comfortable throughout my entire stay.
If only the children working there could provide a few more handrails or safety features for senior guests.

Great little place tucked away from the world. Ideal spot to base yourself. Glorious beach only a few mins away, no real hardship. Beds were great and hosts were fantastic with their communication. A really warm welcome. Great open plan layout and would suit anyone with mobility issues. Great range of amenities and homely touches.
No sea view or golf course view and difficult to park sometimes. The 2nd bedroom was attached to the main bedroom which means that if you need the loo in the night, you had to walk through.
